If you’re here, you know this deep in your bones: the world needs women in autonomous, sovereign positions of power and leadership.
My work is an invitation for change makers, visionaries, entrepreneurs and leaders to step up, own their power and go unapologetically after their dreams.
The old school way isn’t serving us.
Powerful women on a mission know that leadership, productivity and creative problem-solving is a dance of yin and yang energies.
A healthy, balanced union of:
Framework and flow
Milestones and mindfulness
Planning and playfulness
Implementation and intuition
Doing and being
Structure and spirituality
Too yang and we start to burn out. Too yin and we lose focus and drive.
Too yang and we don’t know when to stop and celebrate. Too yin and we never get started or chug along sluggishly.
I work (and play) with women who’ve experienced an imbalance when building their businesses and want to do things differently now. They want to walk in beauty – with grace, ease and hot shoes – towards their dreams and desires.
My work has been featured in publications such as the Huffington Post, the Washington Post, MindBodyGreen, Thrive Global, Elephant Journal and others. In 2017, I was awarded the Silver Stevie® Award in the solo entrepreneur category.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run.
I’m also the co-author of two bestselling books: 365 Ways to Connect With Your Soul and Unleash Your Inner Magnificence.
My name is Puja Madan. And I’ve also been there 🙂
I spent my 20s living a double life in India.
One path saw me work in various management positions for tech startups, launching products, managing teams, meeting vendors and partners, keeping insane hours and being very yang.
Another path saw me meditating, traveling to meet enlightened masters, exploring eastern mysticism, alternative health, yoga, tai chi and higher consciousness. You guessed it: very yin.
In the mornings I would read TechCrunch, review use cases and write blog posts. In the evenings I would learn new meditations, dance under the stars, play poi, listen to talks about Taoism, Sufism, Vedic scriptures.
I knew these parallel worlds would collide one day.
And then one fine morning in 2009, the Universe figured it all out for me. I was at yoga class, perfecting my ardha chandrasanaasana (half moon) when a sharp shooting pain in my abdomen landed me in the hospital.
Although this was a wake up call to take better care of myself through nutrition and exercise, the symbolism of this incident wasn’t wasted on me at all.
Fibroids grow in and around the uterus – the most feminine aspect of a woman’s body.
Talk about blocking feminine energy.
I knew then things had to change. I couldn’t – and wouldn’t – leave feminine aspects of myself at the office door in order to thrive at work. There had to be a way of incorporating the feminine into leadership positions.
There IS a way for you to work, play and thrive in your business without compromising on your health, relationships or peace of mind.
I’ve had the honor to work with hundreds of truly amazing women, sharing my system with them to create more time, freedom and flexibility in their life and business.
